Overview
I create short-form software engineering content for CS students and early-career
engineers on
@tembrasdev, currently around 12K followers. I am hiring for two remote, flexible roles to help
with editing, research, and content operations.
Open Positions
Video Editor - ($17/hr)
Remote · Part-time · 10-15 hrs/week
Responsibilities:
•Edit around 3 short-form (~1-min) videos per week.
•Turn finished scripts and recorded footage into
polished, high-retention videos for Instagram, TikTok, and
related platforms.
•Apply the provided branding guide for fonts,
subtitle style, transitions, graphics, and pacing.
•Prepare edits for regular posts and occasional tech brand deals.
Prerequisites:
•Familiarity using CapCut Desktop, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
•Strong attention to pacing, captions, cuts, and visual clarity.
Additional Notes:
•No computer science background required.
•If CapCut Desktop is needed, the membership will be covered.
Content Strategist - ($15/hr)
Remote · Part-time · 10-15 hrs/week
Responsibilities:
•Research viral creators in the tech and computer science niche using Instrack.
•Identify top-performing topics, hooks, formats, pacing patterns, and creator angles.
•Organize findings into a weekly document with clear video ideas.
•Surface patterns that can be turned into scripts, series, or content experiments.
Prerequisites:
•Strong writing and research skills.
•Ability to explain why a video, hook, or topic is working.
•Organized weekly communication.
Additional Notes:
•No formal experience or computer science background required.
•The goal is to turn market research into actionable video ideas, not to be a technical expert.
